About the position

 

The Medical Program Analyst serves a 24x7 operations center for a mission-critical and highly visible U.S. Government project. The Medical Program Analyst reports to the Managing Director of Medical Operations. The candidate will manage the receipt, verification, organization, and dissemination of identity and specialized medical information. The Medical Program analyst requires daily interaction with some or all of the following: action officers, outreach teams, forward deployed teams, sub-contracted medical clinic personnel, sub-contracted teleradiology staff, management, security personnel, and government personnel with other federal agencies. Applicant must be a positive, flexible, self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision, and able to excel in this fast-paced environment. Exceptional technical, communication, and interpersonal skills are a necessity, including the ability to effectively communicate via written and verbal media. This position functions as part of a team with a sense of ownership and dedication to mission. The candidate will be expected to exercise extreme discretion and judgment on a routine basis when performing his/her duties.

Responsibilities

• Work in a systems operations center environment, assimilating and assessing large amounts of medical files and personally identifiable data, and coordinating testing and follow-up appointments.

• Develop and maintain situational awareness of ongoing events that may affect ongoing evacuation operations.

• Provide continuous information sharing, knowledge management, communications, and reporting support through collaborative business processes.

• Recognize Project Critical Information Requirements (PCIRs), categorize and disseminate critical information to the project and corporate leadership and staff, regional operational nodes, and deployed operational teams.

• Develop written products for senior-level customers.

• Prepare and disseminate briefings to support the project decision cycle.

• Develop responses and briefings to Request For Information (RFI) from senior, adjacent and subordinate staffs.

• Support Crisis Operations Information Management using existing share point tools and all other available information systems in the Operations Center.

• Follow local security procedures and supports Information Assurance (IA) requirements to ensure the security and integrity of the Operations Center.

• Ensures compliance with all regulations and policies governing secure communications equipment and procedures.

 

Required Skills/Education

• Knowledge of office software and IT systems, to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Full professional proficiency in English. Preferred professional proficiency in Dari and Pashto.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business, Political Science, or Communications preferred
